Senaphos Anti-Corrosive Pigment Range.

Saville Whittle introduces it own range of Anti-Corrosive pigments. The Senaphos range comprises of:

Senaphos ZP Standard - Standard Zinc Phosphate
Senaphos AZP - Zinc Aluminium Phosphate
Senaphos OZP - Organic Modified Basic Zinc Orthophosphate Hydrate

Also being developed is Senaphos MZP, which is a Basic Zinc Molybdenum Orthophosphate Hydrate.

Saville Whittle is pleased to announce the representation of Peter Greven Fett-Chemie GmbH + Co. KG for the UK and Irish markets.

Peter Greven is a family owned business established in 1923 and has developed into a major producer of metallic soap, alkaline soap, fatty acid, fatty esters and glycerine.

The industries supplied by these products range from Agriculture, Building, Chemical, Cosmetic, Foodstuff, Paint, Paper, Pharmaceutical, Plastic and Rubber.
Metallic and alkaline soaps have a wide variety of properties and applications of which a few are listed below:

Anti-Slip, Lubricating and Separating Agents - paper coating, ABS resins, Pharmaceutical powders and uncured rubbers.

Water Repellence - external plasters, fertilizers, mineral-binding agents.

Gel-Formation - transparent greases, thixotropic for lacquers.

Stabilizers - PVC, polystyrene, chlorine scavengers in production of polyolefins.

Senasperse

Saville Whittle has launched two ranges of water based pigment dispersions for application in the Paints and Printing Inks industries.

Senasperse 1 is a range of organic and inorganic pigments dispersed into an alkali soluble acrylic resin system. This range was initially developed as single pigment concentrates for application in the inks industry.

Senasperse 2 is a range of organic and inorganic pigments dispersed into a surfactant medium giving good resistance against flocculation and settlement. This range was initially developed as single pigment concentrates for application in the paint industry.

Senasperse 1 & 2 ranges have pigment loadings of 40% - 65% making them a cost effective alternative to buying dry powder pigments and dispersing in house.

Senasperse avoids common issues when processing powder pigments such as a contaminated environments, full equipment clean downs, Difficultly obtaining quality dispersion and production processing time.

The focus over the next quarter is on expanding this present range to develop a broad spectrum of inorganic and organic pigment dispersions to suit the markets requirements.

Also available is the ability to custom match desired colour shades and formulations to suit most applications. If you are able to disclose your application field and colour range we will then be able to start developing a suitable system tailored to your requirements.

Meghmani Organics Ltd opens in the UK and Ireland with Saville Whittle as their exclusive agent and distributor.



Meghmani Organics Ltd is one of India’s largest manufacturers of Phthalocyanine Blue and Green pigments. They manufacture a full range of Pigment Blue 15’s and Pigment Green 7’s as well as some of the more specialist pigments namely Pigment Green 36 and Pigment Blue 60. We will also support a range of Hyperdispersants equivalent to other products currently available on the market.

Alpanil Industries who are part of the Meghmani Group will also be supported. Alpanil Industries manufacture a very diverse range of Pigment Violet 23.

Meghmani Dyes Ltd is a major dyestuff manufacturer will be supported with their range of Optical Brighteners for application in the Paper, Detergents and Plastics industries.

As from the 1st January 2005 sales and distribution of all of these products will be done through our Manchester office/warehouse facility.
