Rubber Industry

Zinc Oxide

This product is used as a vulcanising agent, process activator, accelerator, heat stabilizer and special rubber strengthening agent in the manufacturing process.

We offer two grades manufactured under the “French Process”, a Standard Grade and Pharmaceutical Grade.

The Standard Grade is a “White Seal Quality” but is often used against the less pure “Red Seal Qualities” traditionally supplied into the industry.

The Pharmaceutical Grade has very low heavy metal traces and is FDA approved.

Inorganic Pigments

Our range suitable for rubber applications consists of high heat stable Mixed Metal oxides, Nickel Titanate and Chromium Titanates, Cobalt Blues and Cobalt Greens, Iron Chromite Brown and Spinel Blacks. Lead Chromate and Molybdate, Chromium Oxide Green, and Red/Yellow and Black Synthetic Iron Oxides complete the range.

Lead Oxide Rubber Type

Red lead rubber type is particularly suited as a cross-linking agent, vulcanising accelerator, chlorine acceptor or activator in specific rubber mixtures. We supply this product in powder form and also a low dusting form.

Metal Soaps

Because of its excellent separating properties and its acceptability in rubber formulations, zinc stearate can be used as separating agent. Environmentally friendly substances such as magnesium and calcium soaps as well as complex formulations and dispersions are available as alternatives with easy processability.

Processing aids of special stearic acids, including glycerine as well as additive mixtures guarantee a trouble-free production process.

Organic Pigments

Our range comprises of Basic and High Performance Yellow, Orange, Red, Violet, Phthalocyanine Blue and Green pigments.

Titanium Dioxide

Our range of Ti02 is a top quality chloride process material. There are several grades available of which Kemox 800PG is the most suitable for applications within the rubber industry.

All stock is held here in our Manchester warehouse with deliveries on a 3-4 day lead-time.
